Twenty flame retardant polybrominated biphenyls and diphenyl ethers have been measured in the polymeric components of electronic products in a single GC/MS run following Soxhlet hot extraction.
Two methods were compared for the extraction of terpenes and cannabinoids from marijuana plants, with SFE proving better than focused ultrasound extraction at providing separate fractions which can be used as aroma compounds in the cosmetics industry or medicinal compounds, respectively.
