A proteomic study of the hair follicles of men following low-level laser therapy to reverse the common form of hair loss known as androgenetic alopecia has highlighted the proteins involved and supported the use of this form of treatment.

Several proteins that distinguish hepatocellular carcinoma from neighbouring healthy tissue have been identified by SELDI-TOF MS and their association with disease-free survival has been assessed.

Several published workflows for FFPE‐tissue have been evaluated by fit‐for‐purpose proteomics technologies, showing that many protein modifications and cross‐links remain after treatment, limiting the value of the technique.
