Thermo Fisher Scientific has acquired Finesse Solutions, a leader in the development of scalable control automation systems and software for bioproduction.

Based in Santa Clara, California, Finesse Solutions is a leader in bioprocess management technology, generating approximately $50 million in revenue in 2016. Its proprietary Smart technology, which consists of sensors, controllers and software, is designed to optimize the bioproduction workflow.
