To celebrate 33 years in business, Phenomenex employees, including president and CEO Fasha Mahjoor, are shaving their heads or dyeing their hair for charity.

For every employee that shaves their head or dyes their hair, Phenomenex will donate $500 to a charity of their choosing and then continue to donate this amount for each month that the employee keeps the look until October. So far, 38 employees – 23 men and 15 women – have taken the plunge.

Charities that will receive donations as a result of this campaign include the American Red Cross (USA), the Outward Bound Trust (UK), Doctors without Borders (USA), UNICEF (France), British Red Cross (UK), MacMillan Cancer Support (UK), Virlanie (France), Plan International (Germany), DKMS (Germany), Stop Hunger Now Italia (Italy), AISM (Italy), Piccolo Principe (Italy), KWF (Benelux), War Child (Benelux), Noedhjaelp (Denmark), Cheers Foundation (India), Kiva (Australia), Reledev (Australia/New Zealand) and Fred Hollows Foundation (Australia/New Zealand).
