ACM Global Central Laboratory, a US provider of chemical and biological testing services, has appointed Peng Zhang as laboratory manager of its newly-opened facility in Shanghai, China.

Zhang joins ACM Global from ADICON Clinical Laboratory, where she was the central lab manager. Prior to that, she was a lecturer of laboratory diagnostics in the Department of Clinical Pathology at the Second Military Medical University in Shanghai.

'We are thrilled to have Dr. Zhang leading ACM Shanghai, ensuring that our newest facility adheres to the same standards of operational and scientific expertise we maintain throughout all ACM Global laboratories,' said Jerry Boxall, managing director, ACM Europe and Asia. 'In addition to her extensive educational and professional background, Dr. Zhang’s expertise is further backed by her local experience within Shanghai and familiarity with regulatory requirements, regional logistics, and customs.'
