Abstract

As SFC is gaining momentum as an up-and-coming mainstream chromatographic technique, it is important to better understand the fundamentals of this technique from the perspective of detection behavior.

In this webinar, Dr. Chen explains his group's effort in expanding the horizon of SFC applications outside of the pharmaceutical industry as well as understanding the unique behavior of MS and ELSD under SFC conditions. In addition, the significant improvement in UV detection sensitivity and its implication for method validation, and a multi-channel SFC system for high throughput screening is discussed in great detail.
